Leading a dedicated team, Russ continually drives our company to enhance its yearly results and increase its long-term value.
Since joining us, he has focused on shaping and executing ABP’s business strategy, maximising the benefits of controlling the entire supply chain.
From plantation establishment to high-quality woodchip production and supply, he thoroughly assesses every element.
Sheri Tarr
General Manager – Human Resources
Working closely with other ABP leaders, Sheri is committed to building our team’s skills and promoting diversity.
As the head of HR, she prioritises leadership development, change management and a positive company culture. This means she’s dedicated to creating a workplace where trust, teamwork and celebrating successes are key.
Sheri’s commitment to fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment has been integral to helping our team members thrive.
Lee Hargreaves
General Manager – Commercial
Lee is a chartered accountant with years of experience in commercial plantation management, transport and logistics.
He oversees all ABP’s commercial and contractual matters, including capital projects.
Under his leadership, the Land and Resource Procurement team has significantly grown the company’s assets. What’s more, he’s also successfully led the expansion of ABP’s port facilities.
Damien Mitchell
General Manager – Finance and IT
Damien is a chartered accountant overseeing the finance team at ABP. He manages all aspects of accounting, tax, forecasting and capital management. Additionally, Damien is responsible for Information Technology and completed an upgrade of ABP’s critical information systems, which now integrate harvest planning, electronic docketing and financial reporting systems. In alignment with the development and implementation of our business strategy, he led a project team to establish and implement company-wide KPIs at continuous improvement.
Carl Richardson
General Manager – Marketing
Carl is an experienced forester with extensive senior management expertise, spanning from marketing to operations.
He leads ABP’s marketing, customer relations and export sales of wood fibre, delivering value to ABP’s customers in both product and experience.
Carl also oversees the regional management of ABP’s Albany operations, demonstrating his commitment to operational excellence and strategic leadership.
Darren Shelden
General Manager – Operations
Darren is an experienced forestry professional overseeing ABP’s Green Triangle forestry operations and the port facilities in Albany and Portland.
He is responsible for the entire supply chain from seed to customer, bringing a strong focus on safety, efficiency and quality control.
With his extensive experience, Darren also played a key role in major plantation expansion projects – and in developing industry best practices.
